Funeral Director sponsors Coronation
Triples
This years Ladies Coronation Triples, run by
Wiltshire County Women’s Bowling Association,
has a new sponsor.
A.E.Smith & Son the family owned local funeral
directors of Queens Drive in Swindon have agreed
to sponsor this very popular ladies bowls tournament.
The one day event is being held at three local
bowls clubs on Wednesday 27th July. Around 200
bowlers will be competing at Wootten Bassett,
Highworth and Wroughton Bowls Clubs.
Janet Seal, Hon.Secretary of the Wiltshire Country
Women’s Bowling Association comments “We
are extremely happy to receive this valuable help
of sponsorship. The Coronation Triples is always
well supported by lady bowlers from all over the
county”.
Commenting on the involvement of A.E.Smith &
Son, Director Beverley Lodge explained “We
are a long established, family owned local funeral
directors and consequently believe we should play
our part in supporting the local community. We
were delighted to be able to provide some financial
help for this popular event”.
