Newling of Market Hill, Royston, recently organised
and hosted a training seminar for nursing staff
at Royston Hospital.
The seminar was held at the hospital to assist

the funeral profession.
The seminar covered most aspects of documentation
and registration procedures as well as the role
and duties of the funeral director within the
local community. Commenting on the seminar Daniel
Shaw, Manager of Cecil Newling said “We
were delighted with the attendance for the seminar
and the interest shown by delegates. We are always
pleased to organise free seminars for local care
homes and hospitals as it has been proven to help
care staff qualify for their NVQ certificates.
It is also an integral part of our service to
the local community.”
Speaking on behalf of the delegates Ann Richmond,
Matron of Royston Hospital commented “The
seminar was very interesting and informative and
I’m sure it will be very helpful in assisting
