New Fleet For Local Funeral
Directors
Lodge Brothers, the local family owned funeral
directors, have just taken delivery of their new
fleet of Mercedes hearses and limousines. The
total cost for the eight vehicles, which were
specially built to Lodge Brothers specifications,
was over half a million pounds.
The three hearses and five limousines are all
based on the Mercedes E Class chassis with diesel
engines. The vehicles have been purchased from
Coleman Milne of Westhoughton in Lancashire who
have supplied Lodge Brothers vehicles for over
twenty years.
The new fleet is already in service at local
Lodge branches in High Street, Yiewsley and Church
Road, Northolt.
Explaining why the company made such a major
investment in the vehicles, Andrew Lodge the Managing
Director of Lodge Brothers commented “This
new fleet is a continuation of our commitment
to invest in the business to ensure we provide
the highest standards of service and care to local
families.”
