Local Funeral Director
Receives Top Industry Award
Local funeral director Keith Hopkins of J. Monk
& Sons in Guildford has recently achieved
the highest qualification in the UK funeral industry.
The Diploma in Funeral Directing is awarded by
the Institute of Leadership Management and the
National Association of Funeral Directors.
Commenting on the Diploma Keith, who has worked
for J. Monk & Sons for two years, said “I
wanted to achieve this qualification to enhance
my knowledge and understanding of the profession
so that I can deliver the highest standard of
service to our clients”.
Robert Lodge, chairman of Lodge Brothers the
seventh generation family of local funeral directors
who own J.Monk & Sons, remarked “Our
