Local Funeral Directors undertake Charity Fundraising
Local funeral directors E.Wootten & Son in Chippenham are holding an Open House Coffee Morning on Wednesday July 2nd to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event which will be held at their branch at 47 Market Place, Chippenham from 10.00am to 12.00 noon. Local representatives of the Alzheimer’s Society will be on hand to offer help and advice, and coffee and cakes will be sold to raise much needed funds for the charity.
The Coffee Morning has been planned to take place the week prior to Alzheimer’s Awareness Week.
Speaking about the fundraising event, Ian Hanks manager of E.Wootten & Son said “We are delighted to be able to open up our premises to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. We hope local people will come along and support the event whilst enjoying a cup of coffee and a piece of cake.”
He went on to say “If this event is successful in raising funds we will be pleased to hold future coffee mornings for other local and national charities.”
