Open Day at Funeral Directors
As part of their initiative to support local charities and organisations, local family owned funeral directors Lodge Brothers in Woking are holding an Open Day on Thursday 28th August.
Their branch at 48-54 Goldsworth Road will be open to all visitors from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Everyone is welcome to pop in for a tea or coffee and cake with all the proceeds going to support Woking Hospice.
Funeral Conductors and Funeral Arrangers will be on hand to answer any questions and help to dispel some of the myths and mysteries of what happens at a funeral directors.
Speaking about the event, Bill Wilde manager of Lodge Brothers in Woking said “We are delighted to be able to open up our premises to raise funds for Woking Hospice. We hope local people will come along and support the event whilst enjoying a cup of tea and a piece of cake.”
